About

A diary of the quotidian and the profound written by a middle-aged, modern English woman for one year between July 2019 – July 2020. Also, an accidental work of witness to the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic from the frontline of ordinary life.

Every word is true. The characters in this book are entirely real. Any resemblance to actual persons living or dead is entirely intentional. No events have been fabricated. But please, God, I hope you don’t recognise anyone or anything. 😱
